The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office received a report at 9:05 a.m. Tuesday of the Department of Human Services getting repeated scam emails.

Deputies received a report at 4:14 p.m. Tuesday of a wellhouse that was smoking at 24422 830th Ave. in Albert Lea.

Police arrested Ler Wah, 24, on a local warrant at 913 Plainview Lane.

 

Padlocks cut off bins

Police received a report at 11:38 a.m. Tuesday of padlocks that were reportedly cut off of two large bins through the Disabled American Veterans at 2630 Bridge Ave. The bins were rummaged through.

 

Shoplifter reported

Police received a report at 9:46 p.m. of a person who walked out with merchandise valued at $1,800 from 1721 W. Main St. on Jan. 10.
