The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office will be under a burning ban until further notice.

Several grass fires have been reported in the last few days because of dry conditions.

The Sheriff’s Office will reevaluate the conditions at 7 a.m. Saturday and decide on to either continue the burning ban or to lift it.
