Authorities evacuated Hy-Vee in Albert Lea, 2708 Bridge Ave., Sunday afternoon for a reported gas leak near the meat department. The report stated a vendor ran into the furnace.
Albert Lea Fire Rescue responded, along with Albert Lea police.
Theft by fraud reported
Police received a report at 1:01 p.m. Friday of someone who reportedly fraudulently took out a business loan in another individual’s name on South Fourth Avenue.

Police arrested Sylvia Pearl Cramer, 38, on a Freeborn County warrant and cited Jennifer Lynn Christensen, 52, for expired registration after a traffic stop at 7:47 p.m. Friday near the intersection of St. John Avenue and East Seventh Street.
1 arrested for DWI test refusal
Police arrested Cristofer Maldonado-Ortiz, 21, for driving while impaired-test refusal after a traffic stop at 12:52 a.m. Saturday at 2222 E. Main St.
Man arrested for fleeing, drugs
Police arrested Shawn Casey Tope, 44, for fleeing on foot, fifth-degree controlled substance possession and driving after revocation after a traffic stop at 6:11 a.m. Saturday on Giles Place.

Police arrested Jeffery Alan Riedmaier, 58, on a local warrant at 4:44 p.m. Saturday at 921 Lincoln Ave.
Shoplifter reported
Police received a report at 5:13 p.m. Saturday of a male that walked out of the store with a cart full of items without paying for them at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.
