America is back! Jan. 20 felt like a dark fog lifting from our great land as the hyenas cowered into the shadows.

The long, difficult process of cleaning up messes from egregiously horrible governance over the past four years, and several generations of poor governance by our elected officials, in both parties, has begun. Let us use this term to reflect as a nation on what it means to govern. My hope is that our Republican representatives will learn from past mistakes and move forward, holding our values as Americans closer to their hearts and minds, and that the Democratic Party will regain its sanity that our grandparents knew before they went off the rails at an ever-faster rate since the ’60s. We are fortunate in our community to have truly conservative and honest leaders who practice what they preach and fight the good fight, including Congressman Brad Finstad, Sen. Gene Dornink, and Rep. Peggy Bennett.

There are many messes to be cleaned up. It looks like the cleanup of a restaurant after an irresponsible family with spoiled children threw their food all over and caused a scene before smashing their dishes on the floor and storming out without paying the bill.

My heart goes out to the innocent children of immigrant parents who will be deported. I grieve for the innocent who will be affected by deportations. I grieve for the people who were imprisoned by the despicable Biden Department of Justice cronies who maliciously prosecuted them for praying the Rosary in front of abortion clinics. These are parents and grandparents who were maliciously prosecuted for practicing their right to protest peacefully in defense of the innocent unborn, many receiving prison sentences for years, while radical and violent rioters who burned our cities were unprosecuted.

The J6 committee scandalously destroyed evidence, denied defendants’ due process rights, ignored Nancy Pelosi’s and others’ roles in instigating the event leading to entrapment, and acted recklessly. While there were some J6 defendants who, if they’d had the proper due process, deserved jail time, the J6 committee spit on the Constitutional rights of all defendants to use them for politically motivated persecution. President Trump was right to pardon the J6 and abortion-protesting political prisoners. America must never again imprison political prisoners after bogus trials, like banana republics.

The deportation of illegal immigrants is a necessary measure to clean up the mess of irresponsible governance. The open borders that Biden and fools like Anthony Mayorkas foisted upon our nation led to an epidemic. Child sex trafficking skyrocketed. Drugs poured across the border leading to the deadly drug epidemic as fentanyl deaths soared, impacting our community and taking the lives of hundreds of thousands of Americans. The cartels have been operating within our borders, while gaining more money and power to terrorize the innocent Mexican people and gain more control over an already corrupt Mexican government, using murder, torture and bribery to secure power. We have no idea how many terrorists, criminals and foreign fighters have crossed the border undetected, or what they smuggled in, such as nuclear materials.

The border must continue to be secured, which President Trump did on Jan. 20, something Biden claimed couldn’t be done as he lied for years. Biden and his supporters shoulder 100% of the blame for deportations as we clean up their mess. We don’t know who came here and don’t have the luxury of time and resources for sorting out good immigrants from the bad. Most immigrants are good people, but open borders created a mess with no easy cure and a wake of victims, from immigrant families looking for a better life, to violent crime victims like Laken Riley. This is the result of unscrupulous governance!

Our borders must be secured against radical anti-American invaders. America can benefit from refugees and others seeking a better life, but immigration must be done legally, responsibly and judiciously, slamming the door on those who would turn America into a dystopian nightmare. That means no criminals from foreign prisons, violent extremists who raise Hamas flags on college campuses while terrorizing innocent Jews, terrorists who pledge their allegiance to ISIS and other terrorist organizations, Marxists who despise our way of life, child traffickers or drug mules. Pledge allegiance to America or stay out.

America couldn’t endure the over-taxation and debt from irresponsible governance, DEI, bureaucrats and their red-tape, recklessly funding wars and foreign-aid that go directly to our enemies like ISIS and Al-Qaeda, and other irresponsible spending. The federal government exists for the purpose of protecting America, facilitating trade and providing infrastructure, not to be the largest employer of untalented weirdos that no business would hire, and bureaucrats who drain tax dollars and impede American productivity.

Under President Trump’s leadership and Republican governance, America’s golden age is on the way! Promises made, promises kept!
