No injuries were reported after a vehicle reportedly partially fell through ice on Freeborn Lake Sunday morning.

According to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office, Terrance Mills, 66, of Freeborn Lake was driving a GMC Acadia south across the lake from a boat landing near Arrowhead Point at Arrowhead Point County Park. The report stated as soon as Mills got south of Arrowhead Point, his front tires fell through the ice.

Mills was able to safely exit the vehicle with his dogs.

The vehicle is partially submerged and is expected to be removed from the lake Monday with the assistance of a dive team to help attach cables to the vehicle.
