I am writing to urge the people of Albert Lea to come out and support the Albert Lea Thunder hockey team. I am not a host to any player or affiliated with the team at all, just a hockey fan.

These young men come to us from all over the country to play hockey. We should feel lucky to have them here. What a great family activity.

This is something we should all want to stay in Albert Lea for many years to come. After all, many folks say this is a hockey town. If it was any high school sporting event we all come out to support our kids, win or lose. These young guys come to our community, so doesn’t that make them ours, too? Come on, people, let’s get out to City Arena and show some hometown pride for our Albert Lea Thunder!
