We would like to thank the community for coming out and supporting the American Legion and VFW Honor Guard. We were hoping for 250 people and we ended up serving more than 500.

It is very obvious how much the honor guard is appreciated.

A big thank you goes out to the businesses that helped make our breakfast possible: Hy-Vee Foods, Nelson’s Market Place, J & B Wholesale Group, Ventura Foods, the American Legion and of course, Dennis Brue for his delicious, famous pancakes. The generosity of them all is amazing.

To the guys from the Legion who took care of greeting everyone at the door, we thank you.
