Imagine not be able to refer to Islamic terrorists as “Islamic,” or being unable to use the words “jihadists,” “caliphate” or “mujahadeen” when speaking about our Islamic enemies. (Even our enemies use such terms to describe themselves).

There was an amendment to a bill (HR 5959) that would have helped to prevent this from happening.

The amendment is as follows:

“None of the funds authorized to be appropriated by this Act may be used to prohibit or discourage the use of the words or phrases ‘jihadist’, ‘jihad’, ‘Islamo-fascism’, ‘caliphate’, ‘Islamist’, or ‘Islamic terrorist’ by or within the intelligence community or the Federal Government.”

If we can’t define our enemy, how can we know our enemy? If we can’t know our enemy, how can we defend ourselves? If we can’t defend ourselves, how can we survive?

Most of the people voting against this amendment were democrats. It should be no surprise that Keith Ellison (Muslim) did not vote for this amendment. I find it disturbing that our own Tim Walz did not vote for this amendment. On this issue Tim Walz is not fighting for us. He’s fighting for them.

It’s obvious Tim Walz had his head buried in the bowels of political correctness and tolerance.
