Albert Lea students and schools have a friend in our state Rep. Robin Brown.

In the last two years, no one has worked harder to make sure our schools get enough funding so they to meet tougher standards and cover higher costs, and to pass real accountability that lets us know how our schools are doing. As a teacher and a parent, she believes every Minnesota student deserves an outstanding education regardless of their property taxes or the property value in their neighborhood. She knows that what happens in the classroom can make the difference if every child is to have a chance to reach their potential. And she knows how important to our schools are to our state’s overall economic success — that without great schools to produce a highly skilled workforce, Minnesota will never regain its economic competitive edge.

We can count on Robin Brown to keep working to make sure that every student — no matter where they live — can get a great education. That’s why we need to send her back to the state Legislature on Nov. 4.
