Good Christians indeed can favor Democrats

I, for one, am fed up and take offense to those individuals who are stating that Democrats are not Christians. How obtuse! Please read Matthew 7:1-5. Jesus is speaking and says, “Do not judge, or you too will be judged,” etc., etc.

Republicans do not care about helping the needy or the poor. They got us involved in a senseless war (which by the way Sen. Barack Obama voted against) taking the lives of our young men and women. They gave tax relief to only the rich. They take away efforts to give affordable health care. They dig into our educational funds so the schools and our children suffer because of it. How Christian is that?

News flash: People will still get abortions whomever becomes our new president. Do you think Sen. John McCain will be able to stop it? President Bush (a Republican) did not stop abortion! In 1973, when

abortion was legalized, our president was Richard Nixon (another Republican). All this is so redundant!

As Christians we must be truthful, and the truth is this: Sen. Obama is not Muslim. That was a huge lie that got spread around. Anyone who has listened to him should realize that he is a smart, level-headed, well-educated American man who would be a 100 percent improvement for this country, if elected president. Helping our fellow man is what Christianity is all about and is what Sen. Obama is all about.

Let’s use our brains that our good Lord gave us and think. If Sen. McCain is elected, we will have four more years of Bush. Do we really want that?

The truth is good Christians should vote Democratic. I am proud and honored to be a Christian and a Democrat, and I approve this message.
