Tom Sorenson of Americana Insurance has accepted an invitation by North Star Mutual Insurance Company, based in Cottonwood, to join its agent advisory council as a member for 2008 and beyond.

“It is a great honor to be asked by such a respected insurance company like North Star Mutual. The agent advisory council board will assist in planning for future operations, ideas and changes for the company to better serve their clients,” Sorenson said.

North Star Mutual provides insurance protection for homes, farms, autos and businesses in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Oklahoma and soon in Iowa.
