The Humane Society of Freeborn County is looking for caring foster homes to care for cats and kittens for a few months during the construction of the building’s new addition.

The noise of a construction zone will be stressful to the cats. They would be happier and healthier in a home environment. Work begins soon, and the shelter hopes to get as many cats into foster homes as possible before work begins.

Kitten foster homes are especially needed. The Humane Society will provide food, litter and vet care. An experienced volunteer will be on call to answer questions and concerns of those who provide foster care.
