Hog-confinement unit should go elsewhere

I live on 860th Avenue, the road on which Adams Farms wishes to build a hog-confinement site with 2,400 hogs. The place on which they would like to build is a quarter mile from my home; 860th Avenue runs right through our property. We have “watch for children” signs posted stating a speed of 30 mph through our property. I have a 1-year-old daughter who just started walking. Having semis fly by here every day is just an accident waiting to happen. The barn is across the road from where the house sits. My nieces and nephews come out on the weekends to ride horses down this road and across the two yards. To me this is just very unsafe when even people who travel this road daily have troubles slowing down. I believe in the best benefits for us and our neighbors that they should put the hog lot somewhere else.
