Nancy Bronson, 74, Albert Lea

Memorial services for Nancy L. Bronson, of Albert Lea, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Bonnerup Funeral Service. The Rev. Dwight Netzer will officiate. Visitation will be held 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Bonnerup Funeral Service, and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Albert Lea.

Nancy died on Sunday, July 3, 2011, at St John’s Lutheran Home in Albert Lea. She was 74 years of age.

Nancy was born Feb. 24, 1937, in Albert Lea, the daughter of Myron and Louise (Weber) Randall. She graduated from Albert Lea High School. She was united in marriage to Merlin Bronson in San Antonio, Texas.

Nancy was a Freeborn County resident all of her life and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Albert Lea. Nancy lived and worked on the farm for many years and loved the wildlife, flowers, animals and birds. She was always feeding and caring for the wildlife around the farm.

Nancy is survived by her children: Carl Peterson of Albert Lea, Louise Peterson of Clarks Grove, LaVonne Thompson of Clarks Grove and Randie (Mathew) Luna of Clarks Grove. There are 16 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Niles (Naomi) Randall of Flint, Mich., and Roger Randall of Albert Lea; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Von Hagen; niece, Dorothy Olson; and sister-in-law, Helen Randall.
