I would like to take the time to say Roger Bok will be sadly missed by all that new him! Roger may have been brash with the city, council and county commissioners, but he kept them honest, as Roger would say! Some were not as fortunate to stay out of the attacks by Roger. He meant well, but just could not put it in a civil manner! Roger was not so nice to some people, but if he liked you he would help you in any way possible. This is just my experiences with Roger. Lord knows he was stubborn! But Roger would not stay mad for more than a day; he would be back the next day for a pop and more conversation. That is the Roger that I grew up around and will sadly miss, and I am proud to say he was my godfather! My family will miss the Roger Bok that we know, and our prayers go out to Roger’s family, too! I would like to please REQUEST the Albert Lea City Council have a moment of silence at the next meeting in memory of Roger Bok.
