The Northbridge Malls in Albert Lea will host a silent auction to raise money for the family to be selected for “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” a TV show coming to Freeborn County next week to build a home for a deserving family.

People are asked to drop off new, unused items for people to bid on at the silent auction. Ever got a sweatshirt as a gift and you never wore it? Things like this are perfect for this effort.

The drop off site will be at Northbridge Mall. Pam Folkens of the mall office is the point person. Auction dates are this Tuesday through Oct. 5. from noon to 6 p.m.

All winning items to be picked up and paid from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 6 at Northbridge Mall. All checks to be made out to Farmers State Bank: Larson Contracting “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.”
