During the Albert Lea Third of July Parade, firefighters from the Albert Lea and Albert Lea Township fire departments walked the parade route, raising funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association/Jerry’s Kids, through Fill-The-Boot. It took six firefighters a little over an hour to walk, but they received over $4,000 in that time! That shows just how generous our community really is, especially with the given economy. A very heartfelt thank you to all who donated!
