The Minnesota Twins are offering a free baseball clinic Saturday at Snyder Field.

The Play Ball! Minnesota Youth Clinic is open to boys and girls ages 6 through 16 and is divided into two 90-minute sessions. The 6- to 9-year-old group begins at 9 a.m., and the 10- to 16-year-old group begins at 10:30 a.m. Parents are encouraged to participate with their children.

The clinic focuses on hitting, fielding and throwing, while also providing positive messages about staying in school and refraining from drug and alcohol use. Play Ball! Minnesota Youth Clinics are funded and administered by the Twins Community Fund.

In case of inclement weather, the clinic will be moved indoors to the City Arena.
