Tigersharks to hold breakfast fund-raiser
Albert Lea youth Tigersharks are having a fund-raiser all-you-can-eat breakfast featuring dad’s belgian waffles eat-in or take-out.
It is taking place at the Albert Lea American Legion Sunday, Dec. 11 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The cost is $6 in advance or $7 at the door.
Kids five and under eat free.
Tickets can be purchased from any Tigershark or at the YMCA and Leutholds in Northbridge Mall.

Snowmobile classes to be offered to youth
The Freeborn County Snowmobile Trail Association is holding youth snowmobile training classes for permits.
The program will take place Dec. 3 and Dec. 10 at the American Legion from 8 a.m. to noon.
Those interested need to attend both classes.
The cost is $10.

City League Basketball meeting Nov. 30
There will be an organizational meeting for City League Basketball at Glenville-Emmons High School on Nov. 30 at 7 p.m.
In order to participate you most be an alumni of G-E, employed in the district or live in the
district.

Men’s 4-on-4 league starting at City Arena
A 4-on-4 men’s hockey league will be starting up in Albert Lea.
Games will be played on Wednesday nights at 9:15 p.m. at the City Arena.
There will be an open skate night Nov. 30 to talk about the new league before teams are picked Dec. 7.
It is designed to be a fun hockey league for those 18 and older.

N-K to host wrestling tournament
The Northwood-Kensett Athletic Booster Club is sponsoring the Viking Youth Wrestling
Tournament Saturday, Feb. 4.
Divisions are as follows:
Senior &045;&160;Grades 7 and 8 with weigh-in from 7 to 8 a.m.
Junior &045;&160;Grades 5 and 6 with weigh-in from 7 to 8 a.m.
Pee-Wee &045;&160;Grades 3 and 4 with weigh-in 8 to 9 a.m.
Bantam &045;&160;Grades PK through second with weigh-in from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Juniors and seniors start wrestling at 8:45 a.m. with other classes to follow.
The entry fee is $8 in advance and $11 at the door.
The entry deadline is Feb. 2 with all checks made payable to N-K booster club.
