The Albert Lea U-15 girls soccer team won the Rochester Invitational Tournament (June 13-15) and the Burnsville Fire Cup (June 27-29). The girls won all four games in the Rochester tournament: Rochester 2-1, Austin 3-0, Rochester 2/Kasson-Manorville 1-0. In the championship game the girls defeated Blaine 2-1. In Burnsville, the girls lost 3-0 to Burnsville but bounced back to beat Richfield 4-2, Bloomington 5-0, and Minneapolis 3-0; taking first place by two points. The girls are coached by Todd and Jason Schoonover.

Maureen Vite Hernandez, Kristina Larson and Lindsey Stewart didn’t play in Rochester but played in Burnsville.
