I would personally like to thank Destination Albert Lea, Shinefest, the Albert Lea Seed House, Thompson Sanitation and the many, many wonderful people who came out to help clean up the downtown. It was great to see all the people putting their own time in to help beautify our city. Many thanks to Destination Albert Lea for coordinating the cleanup project again this year along with the helpers from Shinefest. Thanks also go to the Albert Lea Seed House for the donation of red geraniums and Thompson Sanitation for the use of their Dumpster. Alleys and stairwells were cleaned and litter free. Flowers were planted. Windows were shined and streets were swept. It was a beautiful day with lots of wonderful citizens to help make our city shine!
