Girl injured in rollover

HAYWARD — A 7-year-old girl received minor injuries Tuesday afternoon after the minivan she was riding in rolled over on Interstate 90 near the Hayward exit.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Lydia L. Carlson, 7, of Rochester, was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea for minor injuries.
The driver, Tina J. Carlson-Oesterich, 39, of Rochester, was not injured.
Reports state Carlson-Oesterich was driving a 1999 Ford Windstar westbound on Interstate 90 when the front tires went onto the left gravel shoulder, into the median, came back out of the median, crossed the roadway, rolled and landed on its wheels in the ditch.
The crash took place at 4:50 p.m.
The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
Man arrested for DWI
Police arrested Jacob Lee Hanson for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop at 404 E. Fifth St. at 2:17 a.m. today, reports stated.
Tires slashed
Tires were reported slashed on a car at 902 S. Fourth Ave. at 9:02 a.m. Tuesday, according to reports.
Man arrested for shoplifting, other charges
Police arrested Adam Ly Haas of Albert Lea for shoplifting at 6:46 a.m. Tuesday from Kwik Trip, 906 W. Front St. Reports stated Haas was held on a Department of Corrections hold, along with other charges, including theft, illegal consumption and fifth-degree possession of marijuana.
TV and laptops stolen
A 55-inch Toshiba TV and two Acer laptops were reported stolen from 115 N. Ermina Ave. at 4:59 a.m. today, according to police reports.
