Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Mitchell Magavin Stevens for gross misdemeanor assault, terroristic threats, two order for protection volations and criminal damage in Gordonsville at 7:28 p.m. Wednesday.

Police respond to crash

Authorities responded to a report of an injury crash near the intersection of Bridge Avenue and Hammer Road during heavy rains at about 3:10 p.m. Thursday; however, no one ended up being transported to the hospital.

According to police, a maroon Chrysler Sebring rear-ended a black Jeep Cherokee. Responding to the crash were three Albert Lea police cars, an Albert Lea Fire Department truck and an ambulance from Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea.
