Lisa Nathanson qualified for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials in the 50 freestyle at the USA Swimming Speedo Champions Series in Indianapolis, which was held March 27-30.

Lisa is the daughter of Robert and Barb Nathanson of West Des Moines, Iowa, and is the granddaughter of Joe and Elsie Pacovsky of Glenville.

Lisa swims for the Des Moines Swimming Federation and is an eight-time state champion at West Des Moines Valley High School.

She has signed a National Letter of Intent to swim at the University of Missouri in Columbia.

The 2008 Olympic Team Trials will be held June 29 to July 6 in Omaha. Lisa will be competing at the Olympic Trials on July 5.
