Girls ages 16 and younger from Freeborn County have joined forces to play summer fastpitch softball.

The team is still looking for more girls to play.

The Alden Blackhawks will play in the Southern Minny league and are coached by Gary Nelson and Rich Lackey.

The Blackhawks begin the regular season on June 11 and end on July 23.

June 30 vs. Dover-Eyota in Alden at Northpark

July 14 vs. Triton in Alden at Northpark

July 16 at Triton

July 21 vs. Winona Winstars-Orange in Albert Lea at Albert Lea High School Field
