John Tindal, 73, Mesa, Ariz.

John (Jack) Leo Tindal, 73, was born Feb. 16, 1935, in Austin. He died in Mesa, Ariz., on May 18, 2008.

Jack worked at Wilson Foods in Albert Lea for several years and bartended at the VFW in AlbertLea before moving to Mesa, Ariz., with his wife Gerri and worked as a maintenance man for an apartment complex before retiring. Jack lost a long and courageous battle of asbestos poisioning.

Jack is survived by his wife Gerri and pet Honey of Mesa, Ariz.; daughter Peggy Koehler of Colorado Springs, Colo.; son Mark (Tracy) Tindal of Austin; stepson Jeff Hagen (friend Joice) of Albert Lea; stepdaughter Gena (Brad) Lombard of Faribault; daughters Jackie, Danielle and Tracy; nieces, nephews, grandsons and daughters; and sisters Mary Jane Lenoch, Betty Monty, Marcella Mullenbach and Joan Smith.

He is preceded in death by his father, Lee; mother, Margaret; brother, Tom; sisters, Joann and Margaret (Leah); and daughter, Thomacyne.
