A single-lane closure on northbound Interstate 35 near 26th Street in Owatonna was scheduled to begin

Monday so crews can repair a culvert, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

One northbound I-35 lane will remain open. The construction work is expected to take two days, weather permitting, beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday and finishing by 4 p.m. on Tuesday. The northbound lane closure will be in effect overnight as crews continue to haul materials.

MnDOT reminds motorists to slow down in the work zone and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
