Art Space representatives announced this morning they are interested in conducting the survey process in Albert Lea, the next step toward creating artist living space in the area.

The survey, which costs $30,000, will determine if there is a market for artists in the region and how many units would be needed.

The city still has to decide if it wants to participate in the survey and will ask around to other organizations and government entities for financial assistance with the survey. Look to the Tribune for updates.
