The Alden-Conger girls’ softball team committed three errors in the first inning that led to seven Saint Clair runs as Saint Clair defeated Alden-Conger 9-6 Thursday in Saint Clair.

Ashley Goebel threw six innings and allowed two earned runs to get the win for the Cyclones.

Ali Songstad took the loss as she allowed nine hits and walked six for Alden-Conger.

The Knights are back in action Thursday when they travel to Glenville.
