USC posts a victory

WELLS &8212; After starting the season 0-2 the United South Central softball team finally got in the win column Tuesday with a 14-1 blowout over Medford in Wells.
Ali Ramsley pitched flawlessly for five innings giving up just two hits while striking out eight. Ramsley also helped herself at the plate with three hits and three RBI.
The Rebels jumped on Medford with five runs in the first and added another six in the third, scoring their 14 runs on 10 hits for the game. Kelsey Stevermer added two hits for the Rebels.
With the win the Rebels improve to 1-2 on the year as they travel to Faribault on Saturday for a weekend tournament.
