The Minnesota State Patrol has confirmed at least one fatality in a car wreck at 1:29 p.m. Monday near the westbound Interstate-90 ramp to State Highway 13 northwest of Albert Lea.

According to State Patrol reports, the wreck involved a 2004 Ford Freestar and a 1987 Ford dump truck.

Specifics on the drivers of each vehicle has not been released.

The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Department, Albert Lea Police Department, Albert Lea Fire Department and Manchester Fire Department were assisting at the scene.
