Mattson exhibits at Platte River Art Show

Rory Mattson of Albert Lea is on of 32 artists to exhibit at The Platte River Art Show. The show will be held in the Peter Kiewit Lodge at Eugene T. Mahoney State Park, Ashland, Neb., on Saturday and Sunday.
The Platte River Art Show is a celebration of fine art featuring artist from Nebraska, South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, Colorado, Illinois, and Missouri. Art forms include paintings in a variety of media and subject matter, sculpture, woodcarving, silversmith, pottery, antler carving and nature and wildlife photography.
Artists participating in the show have been given a spot in which to display and sell their work as a result of their artistic talent and accomplishments. Participating artists have received a special invitation based on their accomplishments on a state and/or national level, or have been juried into the show by a selection committee.
