Alden-Conger baseball head coach Faron Bremseth resigned Friday following the Knights’ 13-3 loss to Martin County West in Sherburn.

Bret Sindelir has taken over as head coach.

Bremseth was in his eighth season as head coach of the Knights. Alden-Conger was off to a an 0-7 start.

Alden-Conger Activities Director Paul Ragatz said it was a personal decision for Bremseth and declined to comment further.

Sindelir replaced Bremseth two years ago when Bremseth took a sabbatical from coaching after some health problems.
