Ida Warner, 91, Albert Lea

Funeral services for Ida Mary Warner of Albert Lea will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Theodore Catholic Church. The Rev. James Berning and Deacon Mike Ellis will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in St. Theodore Catholic Cemetery.
Mrs. Warner died Saturday morning, Jan. 19, 2008, at her home in Albert Lea. She was 91 years old.
Ida was born July 1, 1916, in New York Mills, the daughter of John and Livina Frey. She attended country school in Homested Township. On March 26, 1940, she was united in marriage to Joseph Warner in Butler. Together they farmed for 16 years near New York Mills before moving to Albert Lea in 1956.
Ida was a member of St Theodore Catholic Church in Albert Lea. She loved to read and watch the birds. She also enjoyed gardening, quilting, jigsaw puzzles and spending time with her family.
Ida is survived by her children; Jim and his wife Helen of Nevis, Leland of Bloomington, Don of Albert Lea, Judy and her husband Edward Anderson of Albert Lea, Dale and his wife Jayne of Maple Grove and Julie and her husband Don of Montello, Wis. There are 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Alice Steele of Ventura, Calif., and Laura (John) Warner of Mounds View, and several nieces and nephews.
Ida was preceded in death by her parents; husband Joseph in 1995; daughter JoAnn Marlin in 2004; one brother, John Frey; and one sister, Mary Dorner.
