MLK Breakfast marks 20 years

The 20th anniversary of the Martin Luther King breakfast is 7 to 8 a.m. Monday at the Albert Lea High School Commons. Breakfast starts at 6:45 a.m. Attendees should note the location change this year.
This year&8217;s theme is &8220;Forgiveness as a Path to Peace.&8221; Attendees can bring a nonperishable food item for the food shelf. There is a $2 suggested donation for the continental breakfast.
The event will include performances by high school and elementary school students, a poetry contest and readings, the awarding of the Paths to Peace scholarship and keynote speaker and psychologist David Larson.
Glenville students and ALHS students Liam Moore and Cassi Owens will provide music.
