WINDOM &8212; Despite trailing by just seven points at the half, the Alden-Conger boys&8217; basketball team surrendered 45 points after halftime and lost 82-54 in its semifinal game of the four-team Windom Tournament.
The Knights trailed 37-30 at the break, but according to head coach Bill Hintz, they fell apart in the second half.
Paul Little came up big for Alden-Conger in the loss with 16 points and 12 boards while Sam Hallman added 13 points.
The Knights, who have lost two games by two points or less, are 1-4 this season and faced Fulda Saturday in the consolation game.
GLENVILLE &8212; Glenville-Emmons fell to Blooming Prairie Friday night 84-37.
Freshman Ryan Dempewolf led the Wolverines (1-7) with 12 points on four 3-pointers. Garret Schumaker scored six points and had three steals. Landon Hall led the team with nine rebounds, all in the second half. The Blossoms led 46-23 at halftime.
&8220;We need to find an identity,&8221; coach Dan Fredrickson said. &8220;We&8217;re forcing too many 3-point shots, and any time you play a really good team the flaws become magnified.&8221;
