Therese M. Ehrich, 79, of Albert Lea died on Friday, Dec. 7, 2007 at the Albert Lea Medical Center, surrounded by her family.
Funeral services for Therese will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday at St. Theodore&8217;s Catholic Church. Fr. Jim Berning and Deacon Mike Ellis will officiate. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. There will also be a visitation one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
Therese Margaret Ehrich was born on May 22, 1928 in Matawan, the daughter of August and Amelia (Giese) Dusza. She grew up and went to school in Wells. On July 12, 1947, Therese was united in marriage to Derald D. Ehrich in Bricelyn. The couple was later re-married at St. Theodore&8217;s Catholic Church in 1953. They moved to Albert Lea in 1955. Therese was a homemaker and enjoyed playing cards, watching her soap opera, being with her grandchildren and visiting with her friends at her home, Senior Tower. She was a member of St. Theodore&8217;s Catholic Church.
Survivors include her children Dawn (Bruce) Jacobson, Susan (Ed) Brown, Mike (Pat) Ehrich, JoAnn Ehrich and Michelle (Jeremy) Brue; grandchildren Melissa (Todd) Hanson, Jessica Jacobson, Jill, Brian and Kimberly Ehrich, Jeremy, Christopher, Jennifer and Amber Bishop, and the twins, Jazmin and Jadin Brue; great-grandchildren Mikayla, Kylie and Braden Hanson; sisters Cecilia Young and Margaret (Ronnie) Schoenfeldt; brother-in-law Keith Ulve; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Therese was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Derald, a stillborn brother and her sister Mary Ulve.
Therese will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
