Tigers well represented on the all-conference team

The Albert Lea High School football team had three players named to the all-conference team and two others that were honorable mentions.
Running back Louie Grossman, quarterback Logan Ferrie and lineman Adam Madrigal were all Big Nine Conference selections. Wide receiver Logan Kortan and running back Ben Waalken&8217;s were honorable mentions.
Grossman led the Tigers with 652 yards on the ground, Ferrie ran for 168 yards and threw for 366 and Madrigal 56 tackles, three sacks and one safety. Kortan had 231 yards receiving and Waalkens had 417 yards rushing and a team-high four touchdowns.
Ferrie was also honored with the &8220;Count on
Me&8221; award and Madrigal was the team&8217;s most valuable player.
The Tigers finished the season with a 3-7 record overall beating rival Austin twice this season and downing Winona for the other win.
