Theresa Phillips, 43, Glenville

On Monday, Oct. 8, 2007, Theresa (Grove) &8220;Grover&8221; Phillips, 43, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer.
A memorial service to commemorate her short life will be held at First Lutheran Church in Glenville on Sunday at 2 p.m.
Theresa was born on Aug. 4, 1964, at Albert Lea. Her parents are Jane (Baseman) Rousey and Harold &8220;Babe&8221; Grove. She attended Glenville Schools and graduated in 1982. After graduation, Theresa moved with her mother to Winterhaven, Fla. She met and married R.L. Phillips and gave birth to a son, A.J. (Andrew) Phillips. R.L. and Theresa were married for 22 years. During this time, she worked in the deli department at Publix and Wal-Mart. Theresa loved Reba McEntire and often teased her mother about how good Reba&8217;s songs are. Theresa loved doing things with her family and will be missed greatly.
Theresa leaves behind her husband, R.L. Phillips, her son A.J. (Andrew) as well as her mother, Jane (Baseman) and Bob Rousey, her father Harold &8220;Babe&8221; Grove and her brother Todd Grove. She is survived by a loving family that includes Roger (Barb) Baseman, Dennis (Jan) Baseman, Lyle (Faye) Baseman, Germaine (Dean) Lemkau, Lynda Baseman, Caroleen Edgar, LeRoy (Alane) Baseman, Daryll (Marlene) Baseman, Richard Grove, Marjorie (Calvin) Dammen, Jeanne Hallum and numerous cousins and friends.
Theresa was preceded in death by her sister, Tonya; uncles, Duaine Baseman, Robert Grove and Roger Hallum; aunts Shirley Grove and Beverly Grove; and cousin, Troy Baseman. She also was preceded by her grandparents, Dorothy and Royal Baseman and Ira ad Charlotte Grove.
