Hilma Watson, 90, Albert Lea

Funeral services for Hilma Iris Watson, 90, of Albert Lea will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at First Lutheran Church Chapel, Albert Lea. The Rev. Dan Baker will officiate. Interment will be in the Lakewood Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
Hilma died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2007, at Good Samaritan Center, Albert Lea.
Hilma Iris Watson was born on April 9, 1917, to Hans and Malena Satre in Alcester, S.D. She grew up in South Dakota and in 1932 came to Minnesota, where she lived in the Moscow area. She married Everett Watson in 1936.
They moved to Albert Lea in 1941. Hilma was a homemaker and worked for the Skyline Supper Club. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea.
Survivors include her son, Melvin of Albert Lea; sisters Gladys Klick and Betty Tompkins, both of Stockton, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
Hilma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Everett; sisters, Bertha Carlson, Sylvia Stoen and Johanna Gullickson; and brothers, Clarence Satre, Irvin Satre, Selmer Satre and Ingolf Satre.
