Twila Hatle, 76, Glenville

Funeral services for Twila Rose (Freeman) Hatle, age 76, of Glenville will be held 2 p.m. on Monday at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home. Pastor Kent Otterman will officiate. Twila died Friday, Aug. 17, 2007, at the Albert Lea Medical Center.

Twila Rose Hatle was born July 26, 1931, in Shellrock Township of Freeborn County to Perry and Velda (Wallin) Freeman. She grew up in the Glenville area and graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1950. In her early twenties she moved to California. She lived there for a short time and then returned to the Glenville area. Twila was married to Garrett Hatle on Nov. 7, 1985, at First Lutheran Church in Glenville. She was a member of First Lutheran Church, Glenville, the Red Hat Society at Good Samaritan Center. Twila was very creative and artistic. She enjoyed making jewelry and decorating cakes.

Survivors include her husband Garrett; children, Darla Jensen of Albert Lea, and Rayna (Tim) Pagel of Hayward; grandchildren, Krystal and friend Dave, Kevin, Amber, Jeremiah, Jasmine, Christina, Scott, and Amanda; great grandchildren Desiree, Noah, and Lincoln; sister-in-law, Kathy (Ronald) Woodside; and brother-in-law, Raymond Hatle.

Twila was preceeded in death by her parents; daughter Velda Mae Prusner; mother-in-law, Edna M. Hatle; father-in-law, Wesley L. Hatle; and brother-in-law, Gregory Hatle.
