A vehicle was reported struck by lightning at 4:45 a.m. today on Interstate 35 near Exit 5, according to Freeborn County Sheriff&8217;s Office reports. Reports indicated the person who was inside the vehicle was transported by private vehicle to the Albert Lea Medical Center.

House reported broken into

A house on the 100 block of McArthur Drive was reported broken into at 5:26 p.m. Tuesday, according to police reports. Reports indicated the family at the house had been on vacation for a few weeks, and when they returned the door to the master bedroom had been forced open and broken. There were several containers of change missing, and drawers were pulled out and dumped on the floor.
