Man held on assault charges

Police are holding Earl Fox Jr., 43, of Albert Lea for second degree assault with a firearm, terroristic threats, and possession of a firearm while intoxicated after they were called to 1303 Poplar Ave. Monday night at about 7:15 p.m., according to police reports. Reports indicated two men were arguing over a woman at the address when Fox pulled out a gun and threatened with that gun. No shots were fired.
Trailer reported stolen from industrial park
An 18-foot tandem axle trailer was reported stolen out of the Hobben Industrial Park Monday morning, according to police reports. Reports indicated the estimated value of the trailer was $4,000.
Items stolen
Some fish sticks, quarters and Nutty bars were reported stolen out of 510 Court St. Monday at 12:39 p.m.
Cell phone reported stolen
A cell phone camera was reported stolen from Taco Johns on Monday, according to police reports. Reports indicated the phone&8217;s owner went to dump her tray while leaving her phone on the table, and when she came back the
phone was missing. The value of the phone is estimated at $200.
