Arlyss Kremer, 66, Mankato

Arlyss E. Kremer, age 66 of Mankato, formerly of Windom, died Thursday, April 12, 2007, at Immanuel St. Joseph Hospital in Mankato, after a four-yearbattle with cancer. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Wells, with Pastor Art Keith officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Rosehill Cemetery in Wells. Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells is in charge of arrangements.
Arlyss was born Nov. 3, 1940 in Dunbar Township, Faribault County, the daughter of Harold and Beulah (Whitney) Rollenhagen. Arlyss attended grade school at Dunbar Township school and graduated from Wells High School in 1957. She had worked for Federated Insurance in Owatonna, Streator Industries in Albert Lea and Caldwell Packing Company in Windom. She also worked for Cottonwood Soil and Water Conservation District, and Cottonwood County Family Services. Arlyss was a founding leader of the Windom Workers 4-H Club; Treasurer of Cottonwood County 4-H Federation for 30 years, and had received the Friend of 4-H Award.
She enjoyed camping and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her father: Harold Rollenhagen of Wells; children: daughter, Kathy Kremer (husband Randy Herman) of Waverly, Iowa; two sons: Ken Kremer (wife Ruth) of St. Michael, Kurt Kremer (wife Melanie) of Lakeville; grandchildren: Joseph and Nathaniel Kremer-Herman, Carah Kucharski, Tanner Kremer and Benjamin Kremer; one brother: Harlan and sister-in-law Karen Rollenhagen of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two nephews: Frederick Rollenhagen of Lakewood, Colo., Timothy Rollenhagen of Aurora, Colo.; niece: Kari (husband Ken) Duncan of Oregon City, Ore.
She was preceded in death by her mother in 2001.
