14 cited for illegal consumption

Fourteen men were cited for illegal consumption at 1:44 a.m. Sunday after police were dispatched to 1627 Oakhurst Road on a complaint of loud music. According to police reports, those cited include Matthew Schumann, 19, of Albert Lea; Timothy Johnson, 18, of Rochester; Kyle Kirsch, 19, of Albert Lea; Thomas Steele, 19, of Albert Lea; Nickolas Hagen, 18, of Albert Lea; Jacob Villareal, 18, of Mankato; Toby Olson, 19, of Albert Lea; Daniel Kjos, 19, of Albert Lea; Stephen Sorgatz, 19, of Albert Lea; Parker Skophammer, 19, of Albert Lea; Andrew Buboltz, 19, of Albert Lea; Jaime Zuniga, 19, of Rochester; Jesse Tovar, 18, of Albert Lea; and Michael Christenson, 19, of Hayward.
Man cited for drug paraphernalia
Police cited Brandon Dean Tlamka, 21, of Albert Lea with drug paraphernalia and Jesse Tuttle, 18, of Albert Lea with illegal consumption after an officer stopped the car they were in for erratic driving on County Road 46 by Interstate 35, according to police reports.
Subwoofers stolen out of car
Two 12-inch subwoofers were reported stolen out of a car at 1101-1/2 Newton Ave. sometime during the early hours of last Friday, according to police reports. Reports indicate there are no suspects at this time.
Another vehicle at 702 Bridge Ave. was also reported broken into sometime last Thursday, according to police reports. Reports indicated someone attempted to steal the cd player in the car and damaged the dash and radio in that attempt. Also taken were 120 CDs.
