Three vending machines were reported damaged in the breakroom at Progress Castings at 1521 E. Hawthorne St. at 10:01 p.m. Sunday, according to police reports. Reports indicated someone entered the plant through a window, damaged the machines in the breakroom and took some change out of the machines. It is unknown how much change was taken.

CD player stolen

An AM/FM compact disc player and 10 CDs were reported stolen out of a vehicle parked at a 624 E. Seventh St. residence over the weekend, according to police reports.

Bike stolen from rack

A 10-speed Roadmaster bike was reported stolen from the bike rack at 800 Fourth Avenue sometime Saturday night, according to police reports. The incident was reported at 7:49 a.m. Sunday.

CDs stolen from cars

Fifteen to twenty compact discs and some miscellaneous change were reported stolen from two vehicles parked in the driveway at 603 E. Hawthorne St.

at 11:34 a.m. Sunday, according to police reports. Reports indicated there was no sign of forced entry and the cds were taken overnight Saturday.
