Lake Mills girls’ track takes second place

Sophomore Haley Krull tallied two first-place finishes and set a meet record to lead the Lake Mills girls’ track team to second place Tuesday at Forest City.
West Fork scored 159 points to win the event, Lake Mills scored 137 points and St. Ansgar took third with 97.
Krull won the 100-meter dash in 12.7 seconds and set a meet record in the 200 with a time of 26.54 seconds.
Lindy Pins finished first in the 800 with a time of 2:36.77 and Hallie Erdahl took the 400 in a time of 1:02.96.
Lake Mills won the sprint medley in 1:59.82, distance medley relay in 4:36.73, the 4×800 in 10:40.69, and had the best overall 4×400 with a time of 4:18.86.
The Bulldogs are off until Monday, when they travel to West Hancock.
