Scott Brackey Peterson, 32 of Lake Mills, Iowa, died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2007, at his home in Lake Mills.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at

Lake Mills Synod Lutheran Church in Lake Mills with Pastor Karl Hermanson officiating. Burial will take place at Lake Mills

Synod Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday evening at Mittelstadt Funeral Home in Lake Mills and again one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.

Scott L. Brackey was born May 17, 1974, in

Albert Lea. He was the son of Diane Brackey and the late Steven Peterson. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at the Synod Church in Lake

Mills. He graduated from Lake Mills High School in 1993.

Scott loved shooting pool. He also liked golfing, playing cards, hunting, and fishing. But more than anything, he loved his mother and his family.

Survivors include his mother, Diane Brackey of

Lake Mills; sister, Nichole Segura; nieces and nephew, Sarah, Rachel, and Jacob; a special friend Melissa Hacker, Cali and Abbey of LuVerne; grandparents, Ray and Thelma Isaacson of Albert Lea, and Marjorie Peterson of Ankeny, Iowa; and several aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his father, Steven Peterson; and grandparents, Marvin Brackey and Lesley Peterson.
