Albert Lea Medical Center is offering scholarships to students currently enrolled in college or technical school and nontraditional students.

Two $750 scholarships will be awarded to students who have successfully completed at least one year at an accredited college or technical school. Students who live within Albert Lea Medical Center’s service area, have a GPA of 3.0 or better, and a declared major in a health care field are eligible for the scholarships.

Two $750 scholarships are also available for “non-traditional” students, defined as those who are pursuing post-secondary education five or more years after completing high school or receiving a GED. To be eligible, students must live within Albert Lea Medical Center’s service area and plan an education in the health care field.
