Like a dictator courting favor before an election by releasing political prisoners, Obama has blatantly violated the Constitution and his oath of office by, in his latest executive order, circumventing Congress and granting amnesty, including work permits and a road to citizenship, to all illegal aliens in line for deportation if they’ve committed no crime other than breaking into the U.S. — serious enough in my book. Right now that adds up to about 300,000. He didn’t try to push this through Congress when the Democrats had the majority in both chambers — the bipartisan opposition was too strong — so now he appears willing to do almost anything to get what he wants.

He believes in a super-powerful, centralized government; and whether or not Congress goes along, he’s going to get it. That’s fine if you don’t live in a democracy, but it’s not fine here in the United States of America.
